After earning a degree from the College of Education at the University of Kentucky, Jock worked as a professional with the Boy Scouts of America and as Director of Training & Development for Sigma Chi Fraternity/Foundation. It was in the non-profit world that Jock began to appreciate the importance of honing communication and influencing skills as he worked with hundreds of volunteers to accomplish the mission of the organizations that employed him.
From the non-profit sector, Jock moved to Abbott Laboratories, selling both high end capital equipment and diagnostic supplies. Jock’s success in sales laid the foundation for several other positions, of increasing responsibility, at Abbott in training, marketing and sales management.
With these finely developed skills in sales, training, and sales management, Jock was a natural candidate for ZEHREN♦FRIEDMAN, where he markets and delivers our training and consulting services to clients in a broad range of industries.
